We'll be adding a few more places to list of places visited and crossing off things to do this week.

We're going to Buena Vista later today to camp for a few nights.  It's a beautiful area, just a few hours away, and we've only really been there once the entire time we've lived in Colorado.  We're camping at a local hot springs, so included in our camping fee is 24 hour access to the springs.  I know it probably won't compare to the hot springs we recently backpacked to near Aspen which was natural and isolated, but commercial hot springs can be nice too.  Jason is hoping to get some fishing in - I'm not sure what I'll be doing.  I don't have a fishing license and frankly when he caught a fish up in Minnesota I was a little uncomfortable with it.  I do like the idea of fishing - I guess mostly the being outdoors in a nice setting and I do like casting, but when an actual fish is on the end of the line I feel bad for the little guy.

Later in the week we're going to a wine festival in Palisade.  It's over on the far west side of the state.  We'll be staying in nearby Grand Junction, which other than a quick meal break on the way to Utah we've never really explored either.  I don't know if there's anything worth checking out, but the wine festival is just 10 miles away and there will be plenty going on over there.

I'm excited to spend some time in regions of the state we don't visit often.  Plus, the leaves should be really beautiful in the mountains.  If all goes well, I'll have some nice pictures to share when we get home.
